CheckFreePay Locator API

The CheckFreePay Locator API provides developers with programmatic access to our real-time biller location search and mapping data for integration into mobile apps, kiosks, support chat, webpage content, and other third-party software systems.  These API endpoints give access to the same data and web services that power our own CheckFreePay Locator system, including the ability to query biller lists and to search within biller/merchant location data.

Locator API calls are made using REST (Representational State Transfer) protocol and basic HTTP authentication. Requests are made by supplying the appropriate query parameters to a variety of endpoints using appropriate API service URLs, with the results returned in JSON format.

In order to work with the CheckFreePay API, your development team will need authentication credentials. Please contact your CheckFreePay representative to request access, and a unique authentication key will be generated and issued to you. The same authentication key can be used in development, testing, and production environments.
